A Girl's heart

​Some love me for my future,

Others, because my words entice,

Some love me because my face does smile,

Others because my tears are rare.

To some, my thoughts are intriguing,

To others, my feelings divine,

For some, I dare to care,

Some others, I care to dare.


But you are drawn to my acheing soul!

My troubles you care to allay,

And your entreprise is of soothing balm,

How bizarrely amazing!


Some envy me for my plans,

Others, because I can keep consistent optimism,

Some envy me for my brain resource,

Others, because my draughts are largely spaced.


To some, I am of great carriage,

To others, I am of great courage,

To some, I am faultless,

To others, dauntless.


But you see through to my rottenness,

And harm yourself with hysopp,

You approached my care with dutifulness,

For my recovery, you have great hope.
